MoneyMarket.Am site is a unique free platform about banking services, financial markets (foreign exchange market, securities market, money market), transactions with Central Bank of Armenia, where are available interest rates of all Armenian commercial banks' deposits, foreign exchange rates, loans, gold prices, Central Bank foreign currency interventions.
Our mission
MoneyMarket.Am team's mission is to provide the most consistent, transparent, accurate and complete information on the most important indicators of the financial market of Armenia, which are understandable, user-friendly and accessible for site visitors.
The timeline of website
The idea of creating the site was come up in 2012, by the founder of the site Armen Hovhannisyan, when investigating the problems of access to the information in the financial market of Armenia, the idea of creating a platform with full of new technological solutions, where visitors can view detailed information about the financial system in a flexible and affordable way.
2013 year --- the first version of the website was launched, ensuring exchange rates of all Armenian commercial banks, Central Bank of Armenia, exchange rates of banks, international exchange rates.
2014 year --- developing website toolkits and expanding information in new sections, improved transactions with AMD and foreign currencies of the Central Bank of Armenia, providing the latest and historical data on forex interventions of the Central Bank of Armenia, information on all monetary policy instruments and interest rates of the Central Bank of Armenia.
2015 year --- the structure of information on the Armenian money market was updated, including repo transactions with government bonds of RA, loans in AMD and foreign currency between banks, balance of the Central Bank of Armenia (money base) and banks’ reserve requirement data.
2016 year --- was launched and improved a full section of the government bond market, including primary issues, allocations and buyback auctions, secondary market bond, yield curves, bond prices and primary agents (dealers).
2017 year --- gold price in Armenia, which includes the standardized bullions of gold bars in Armenia, the prices of non-cash metals, the prices for precious metals published by the Central Bank of Armenia, international prices for precious metals
2018 year --- deposits section was designed and launched, where are included deposits of individuals and deposits of legal entities in Armenian drams, USD, EUR and Russian rubles
